Following his transition from operating roles, James founded Ampleks Investments, a private investment firm focused on disciplined, long-term capital deployment across a diversified portfolio. Through Ampleks, he invests in private equity, real estate, and select direct opportunities, and provides structured lending to businesses with strong fundamentals and near-term growth potential. His investment philosophy emphasizes capital preservation, thoughtful risk management, and alignment with capable operators.

In addition to his business and investment activities, James remains actively engaged in advisory and leadership capacities, bringing a practical, operator-driven perspective to growth, strategy, and organizational development.

James is based in Texas with his family. He enjoys travel, writing, and exploring opportunities at the intersection of business, technology, and long-term value creation.
